I was wondering if anyone has tied a PR knot in hollow core? Do you think the knot would be as strong tied in hollow as it is in solid lines?

Im just curious as im switiching over to hollow and was wondering what happened on the off chance that you lost all of your wind-on leaders... what would you do in order to cont. to fish.

I believe i saw in one post that kil tied a Mid Knot ... is that right kil? But wsa wondering if anyone has tried and or tested PR knot strentgh when tied in hollow.

I KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT IDEAL and the whole reason behind the hollow is to eliminate knots... but still curious.

Thanks,
Till the next tide

I have had a wind on cut off a chunking setup before and tied a P.R. knot. I never had a problem with it.

I also use the P.R. knot to serve my windon casting leaders.

As Greg said, it is just fine. I have used hollow lines with Mid Knot for months without any issue.
