According to them, the jigging rod will be release around August if I'm not mistaken.
I guess right now they're busy preparing for the show this weekend at Rhode Island.
And I'm sure Robert will chime in for more detail if he see this.

The PHD blank (Black Diamond Hybrid) is design for West Coast style fishing.
The new East Coast style jigging rod is completely different with PHD blank.
It has small diameter butt section.

Hey there Red Hunter. I'm sorry for the delay in response to your questions. As of right now, we are working on the final product. After some quality feedback at the ICRBE, we are changing some stuff in the product.

The Prototype Jigging and Popping rods were made within 2 weeks of the ICRBE. Those blanks were to gain feedback for our designer to better them. We are hoping to get the final product out soon, once everything is to our standards.

There is one lucky soul/member of 360 tuna walking around with some prototypes though. Hope he builds them soon. :)

Jason gonna help with the Great Dane? he needs to be getting his boat ready for the Keys this summer. I told him that you would drive over and work like a slave all day for a fishing trip:p

Nice meeting you at the show.
Even I didn't test your rods/blanks, I can feel Phenix blanks are very solid.
Your company is ahead of other California rod manufacturers as far as new style jigging and popping is concerned. Let me know when you want to go bluefin popping in the East Coast.

Hey Kilsong, its was pleasure to finally meet you at the Rhode Island Show. You're the first person I have met that REALLY pulled hard on our blanks. At one point I thought you were gonna sit on the ground:D

I will take you up on that offer of popping for BFT. I would love to slay some of them bad boys with you.

-Robert
